Ginger formed Salt in 1971. An all African line up apart from Baker and Tench featuring: Fela Ransome-Kuti, Guy Warren, Bob Tench, Sandra Izsadore, JK Braimah, and Ginger Baker. Salt had gone their separate ways by the end of '72, having recorded just one live album - Ginger Baker's Statavarious.
